Academic Credentials

Dr. Andrew Dutta has an impeccable academic background as one of the best astrologer and spirit possession healer. A PhD in Management, he was the Visiting Research Scholar to the Bentley University in Massachusetts, USA in 2004-05 where he developed his doctoral dissertation in management, which was awarded to him after his successful thesis defense in 2007 in India. He is a trained researcher who understands and conducts systematic statistical researches in the field of management. He has applied his knowledge of systematic research and statistics in the applied practical astrology. His PhD thesis was in the interface of information technology with human resources management and he is currently a full tenured tracked professor in the Human Resources Management domain and Dean Academic in one of the ivy league business management schools of India.

A university topper from the University of Calcutta in Business Finance, Dr. Dutta was awarded a Gold Medal from the university in 1999 for ranking First in First Class in his year. An alumnus from the prestigious St. Xavier’s College of Calcutta, he graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree with a First Class. He was also the India topper in the paper ‘Structure of Commerce’ in ISC 1994 scoring 99% at his 12th Grade school leaving examination.

Astrology Credentials

Andrew’s mother, late Mrs. Ujjwala Dutta (Srimati Deblina) was his first Guru, who initiated him into this vast ocean of astrology (Jyotisha) at quite an early age. Andrew’s mother taught him extensively the esoteric principles of remedial measures in astrology apart from infusing the basic foundation of Hindu Vedic astrology. She held his hands carefully and brought him to the shores of the ocean of astrology. Dr. Andrew Dutta picked up his initial lessons of predictive astrology from his mother and observed and learnt from his mother’s illustrious astrological practice in Kolkata with innumerable clients as astrologer and spirit possession healer.

However, he was extensively groomed and trained in astrology by two great Gurus. His second Guru is ‘Jyotiryogi’ ji (Sri Pramod Ranjan Mohanto) who trained him in Vedic or Hindu astrology. He was very fortunate to be the only disciple of ‘Jyotiryogi’ ji who not only groomed and trained him in the field of astrology but also taught him and shared with him all the experiential knowledge that he gained in four and a half decade as a leading professional astrologer of Kolkata, India. He taught Andrew remedial measures in astrology through gemstones that can have miraculous effect on individuals, following the methods advocated by the famous late Sadhan Bhai of Kolkata. His magnanimity towards him is bigger than the seven seas.

His third Guru was one of the famous legends in Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) astrology in the world—late Sri P.V.K. Punneswara Rao ji, of Hyderabad who practiced astrology for more than six decades. Andrew had a personal, one-to-one learning under him. His Guruji Sri Rao ji has selflessly shared his knowledge of KP system and imbibed spirituality and positive virtues in Dr. Andrew during his training in KP system under him at Rao ji’s own residence in Hyderabad. Rao ji was the direct student of late Sri V.B.N. Sarma ji of Warrangal, who himself resided in the house of late K.S. Krishnamurti (the inventor of KP system) and learnt the technique from the great Guru himself. Sri Rao ji’s presence in his life is like a Divine blessing and he has brought Dr. Andrew very close to the Supreme Soul. He has given Dr. Andrew a spiritual birth. Without his hand holding, Dr. Andrew would not have been so close to God as he is today.

Both his Gurujis have loved him like their own son and have built a strong character in him to become an honest astrologer for the benefit of the society. Apart from training him in astrology, they have shown him the path of Dharma that each and every astrologer should follow. Andrew’s mother brought him to the shores of the ocean of astrology and his two Gurujis have taught him how to swim effortlessly in that vast and deep ocean.

At the special invitation of the Malaysian Astrological Society, Kuala Lumpur, Dr. Andrew Dutta was invited in the month of May 2015 to conduct a 3 Day KP Astrology Workshop in Malaysia and then in 2018 in Pennsylvania, USA.

Awards

Dr. Dutta is the recipient of many prestigious awards and recognitions in the field of astrology from his young age of 28.

​In 2001, he received the distinguished title Jyotish Vidya Ratna

​In 2001, he received the Jyoti Bachaspati Memorial Award and the title Jyotish Bibhakar for ranking 1st in best speech delivered at the All India Astrological Conference. He spoke about his invention in birth time verification method of ‘Rule of Origin’.

​In 2002, he received the Maharshi Parashar Gold Medal Award

​In 2008, he received the Jyotisha Visharada (KP) title award.

​In 2009, he received the Nostradamus 2009 award from the Express Newspaper Group publication ‘Express Star Teller’ for his unequivocal correct prediction 3 months in advance about the UPA government coming back to power in the Parliament of India.

​In 2014, Dr. Andrew Dutta was conferred one of the highest and highly prestigious astrological titles in India JYOTISHYA MAHAMAHOPADHAYAYA by the Universal Research Institute of Astro & Occult Sciences, Hyderabad in their 28th Annual Convocation in recognition of his dedicated and extraordinary global services to the cause of Research, Development and Propagation of astrology with special emphasis on Krishnamurti Paddhati. Such high honor has been received by Dr. Andrew Dutta at the young age of 38 only.

​It is usually said that “History Repeats Itself”. And this has been true for the world famous KP astrologer, Jyotishya Mahamahopadhyayay Dr. Andrew Dutta (Sri Indrajit). After completing a highly acclaimed and successful 3 Days intensive KP astrology workshop in Malaysia upon the invitation of the Malaysian Astrological Society from 1st to 3rd May 2015, Dr. Andrew Dutta (Sri Indrajit) was conferred the honorary title SOTHIDA MANNAN (meaning “Emperor of Astrology”) by the Malaysian Astrological Society, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 3rd May 2015 in Malaysia. This highest title was awarded in 1970 by the same organization to the inventor of Krishnamurti Paddhati–K. S. Krishnamurti. This is the greatest honor for a KP astrologer because the inventor of the KP system of astrology late K.S. Krishnamurty ji was also awarded with the same title Sothida Mannan in June 1970 by the then Malayan Astrological Society, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which was later registered as the Malaysian Astrological Society in 1972.

​He is the second Indian KP astrologer after late K.S. Krishnamurty to receive this highly prestigious award from the same organization which felicitated the inventor of KP astrology in 1970. Indeed, many KP astrology fans, students and clients say that Dr. Andrew Dutta is KSK re-born.
